Life Still Goes On

I thought I'd try my hands at some still life junk around the house. I managed to attack a hanging plant, our spikey plant in the cool lookin' pot, a bush out back that looks like coral, and our candle holders on the dining room table. Check out...

Don't forget to check out all my other junk at: My Gallery

Spikey plant 3 is my favorite for the greek pattern wrapped around the vase. How do you draw so clean? What pencils/paper do you use? Elegent yet sketchy and beautiful. Keep it up bro.

Seth,

Thanks for the feedback. I use moleskine sketch books, and standard HB pencils. I used to use mechanical pencils with HB lead, but with a pencil that you have to sharpen regularly you end up getting a wider variety of line.

Seth,

Here's the moleskine website. They're these little hard backed sketchbooks with nice thick paper. They come in a couple sizes and I go with the biggest size most often...
