Jungle
I went to Catalina this past weekend for a camping trip and had a blast, and I am lagging a bit in the Illustration Friday assignment for "Jungle". I went with a Jungle Book theme-d idea, and went kinda for a Jumanji (sp?) flavor as well. Anywho, this is what I came up with, so let me know whatchya think:

Yeah I didn't think about it like that. At first I wanted to try a Jungle scene, but I'm a fan of puns, and word play so I though of Jungle book after that.
I originally had a leopard paw in there grabbing the guy/dude/person around the neck, but that seemed pretty violent, and I kinda ran out of room (and I know zippy about big-cat anatomy to draw it appropriately).

Eek! The book is alive! Really nice idea
I love the humor in it, illustratoins like this are a lot of fun to do and see. It makes me want to have more fun with my own work.
